After breakfast I wanted to walk awhile to enjoy autumn-like weather and perhaps see vacant houses available for rent. I walked south through Sagada and Suyo, all the way to the river. I made a few photos of the only good-looking, vibrant green rice paddy, a caribao, farmers, a school and an Episcopalian church.

The walk back uphill from the river toward Sagada was no cake walk. After a mile or so, I heard a diesel engine roaring somewhere behind me. I turned and waited to see a yellow jeepney come into view ’round a bend. I waved at the driver, was able to board the truck and was relieved to ride into Sagada’s town center. That was a time-saver.
