bright future

Yesterday I replied to a curious e-mail letter from  ”Dr Donald Anderson” at drdonaldanderson08@yahoo.com which invited a reply to drdonanderson2@aol.co.uk. Today I have his response. Apparently I could soon be very wealthy.

    Dear Brian,
Thank you very much for your kind reply to my mail. To be explicit and straight to the point,as I told you in my previous mail,I am the  New Director,International remittance department of our Finance and Securities firm here in Europe .Having assumed my new office recently, I made an amazing discovery that some time early 1997, a reputable client of ours deposited a consignment in our company’s vault for safekeeping and since then our client has failed to come forward to claim this consignment which has accumulated a considerable amount of money in demurrage.
Consequently, in our effort to contact this client to redeem the demur rage we discovered that our client was the former president of the Federal Republic of Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of Congo) who died of illness after he was dethroned in the same year he deposited the consignment. Since the death of our client Late President Mobutu Seseseko, no one has come forward to claim the consignment, which means that none of his relatives or aides had any knowledge of this consignment.
Out of curiosity, I decided to check the boxes and to my greatest surprise, I discovered that the five boxes that were registered as treasure by our client actually contained a considerable amount of money in united state dollars amounting to about US$45.5 million dollars. I also found out from inquiries that our late client siphoned a lot of money from his country while he was in office as the Head of State. It is my conviction that the consignment in our vault was part of the money that our client siphoned and now that he is dead, there is no trace to this money in our care.
I seek your indulgence to transfer this consignment o ut of this present location to your country for immediate investment. I have decided to give you 50% of the total amount on acceptance as I would not want to be greedy over this. Upon acceptance, I will immediately arrange all the paper works and transfer the rights of ownership of these consignment to your name to facilitate your easy claim, and transfer of the fund to any destination of your choice for investment.
I plead that you maintain absolute confidentiality on this matter, while hoping to read from you soon.
    Yours Faithfully,
    Dr Donald Anderson
