The ALMS has moved the Laguna Seca race from its current October season-finale date to May in 2010, after Sebring and Long Beach

The May 22 Laguna Seca race date allows the Petit Le Mans to return to its traditional role as the series closer.

Sadly, the Saint Petersburg race has dropped from next year’s schedule. The IndyCar Series race weekend in Saint Petersburg, which the ALMS race would have joined, had been pulled back to one week after the Sebring 12 Hours. The ALMS racers should return to Saint Petersburg in early 2011. I hope that they do!
