We remember racer Tony Renna, who perished at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on October 22, 2003
This morning I awoke at 5:30 — incredibly early for me — and hours later I was in the Department of Veterans Affairs Joint Ambulatory Care Center in Pensacola. It’s a very spacious, modern, new multi-clinic facility between the Navy base’s hospital and the base exchange (past the junior college). After my appointment to see a physician, I visited the truly glorious National Museum of Naval Aviation on Naval Air Station Pensacola, the home of the Blue Angels flight demonstration squadron. Unfortunately, when I left home this morning, walking out of a dark front room, I failed to see my black camera bag three or four feet from me on the dark red couch. So I have no photos to share with you. Oh, well … I enjoyed seeing the museum’s exhibits again. Visit it if you are interested in military aviation. It’s wonderful.
It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent; it is the one that is most adaptable to change. ~Charles Darwin
