Naval Air Station Pensacola

This morning I awoke at 5:30 — incredibly early for me — and hours later I was in the Department of Veterans Affairs Joint Ambulatory Care Center in Pensacola. It’s a very spacious, modern, new multi-clinic facility between the Navy base’s hospital and the base exchange (past the junior college). After my appointment to see a physician, I visited the truly glorious National Museum of Naval Aviation on Naval Air Station Pensacola, the home of the Blue Angels flight demonstration squadron. Unfortunately, when I left home this morning, walking out of a dark front room, I failed to see my black camera bag three or four feet from me on the dark red couch. So I have no photos to share with you. Oh, well … I enjoyed seeing the museum’s exhibits again. Visit it if you are interested in military aviation. It’s wonderful.

today’s thought
