Some of my photos of the Sixtieth 12 Hours of Sebring race are on OpenPaddock.net.
I’m in Sebring to watch races including the Sixtieth 12 Hours of Sebring sports car classic, part of the World Endurance Championship.
Approaching Tyndall Air Force Base on some days are Marine F/A-18 Hornets. They come fast, fly over the runways and past the control tower, then loop back over the bay behind my home before dropping gear and approaching to land.
This shows how closely the wingmen fly when zooming from a Navy or Marine base to Tyndall AFB.
Tyndall Air Force Base’s T-38 adversary pilots also fly less than a wingspan apart when they return to base, as if to show that they’re not second-class pilots relegated to a role supporting F-22 training.
